Eunan O'Kane talks about a frustrating afternoon at Elland Road..

Whites midfielder Eunan O’Kane felt yesterday’s Championship home clash with Nottingham Forest was a frustrating one with Leeds United creating plenty of chances during the 90 minutes.

The New Year’s Day tie saw Leeds United coming into the game after a string of wins at Elland Road over the festive period – but the result ended in a goal-less draw.

O’Kane felt Leeds had plenty of chances, but were unfortunate to convert to get the three points.

“It was a frustrating game. I think we played well and I think they really only had pressure on for ten minutes in the second half,” said O’Kane.

“We created enough good chances to win the game, but unfortunately nothing happened.

“We’re always trying to learn and that will be a match that we pick out as a squad and with the manager to learn from. We will learn from games like that and will learn from our mistakes.”

He added: “I think the back four have massively improved, and I think we’re working really well together – it’s probably an area that could have been better over the bad spell a few weeks ago – but we’ve worked hard at tightening that up.

“I know its cliché, but if you can keep clean sheets and keep scoring goals at the other end, we’ll keep winning the games.

“We don’t give up and we’re not scared to get stuck in - which I think we showed against Nottingham Forest.”
