CALEB EKUBAN INJURY
Latest on forward.
Following scans and advice from consultants we can confirm that Caleb Ekuban will be out for six weeks with a small fracture to a bone in his foot.
Ekuban picked up the injury at Loftus Road last weekend in the 3-1 win over QPR.
Head coach Thomas Christiansen said: “Caleb has been very unlucky to pick up this injury however he does not require surgery which will make the process quicker than we first thought.
“It's a blow for all of us as Caleb is a big part of our plans, although with Pierre-Michel Lasogga returning to training last week and Kemar Roofe and Jay-Roy Grot available to us, who can both play down the middle, shows how strong our squad is.”
