LUKE AYLING: I LOVE PLAYING FOOTBALL OVER CHRISTMAS

Leeds United defender Luke Ayling hopes the Whites are able to continue their good run against Norwich City on Saturday.
The Whites welcome the Canaries to Elland Road, looking to go four games undefeated in the Sky Bet Championship.
Ayling spoke about the upcoming Christmas period, the mood at Thorp Arch and the impact everyone has had in the playing squad so far.
“We had a bit of a bad spell, but now we are back playing to how we were at the start of the season,” said Ayling.
“We’ve never been cut adrift this season from where we want to be as a group, so it has all been about sticking together and trying to find our form again.
“The mood in the camp is good, we’ve had a few injuries but the players who have come in, have done really well.
“It was great for Kemar Roofe last week to score a hat-trick, every time he has played up front for us he has scored goals.
“It was also good for Pawel Cibicki, playing his first league game, he got 50 minutes and did really, really well, so the win against QPR was a great day all around.
“I love playing football over Christmas and I think that is what it is all about, it is a tough period for us, but always fun and enjoyable.
“We have around four games within in eight days and there are some real good points to be picked up.
“We’ve got two really tough games at home coming up now, but all of the lads always fancy themselves at Elland Road.
“Norwich are a really good team, when we last played them at home they battered us for the first 45 minutes and played really well, before we came back into it.
“The Championship is so unpredictable and anyone can beat anyone and it promises to be a good game.
“Norwich have a lot of players who are good at going forward, so we know it will be a hard match, but we also have players who are good at going forward as well.”
