Pierre-Michel Lasogga

After scoring three goals in September and picking up the Louis Erard Player of the Month, Lasogga is once again nominated for October’s accolade after carrying on his goal-scoring form.  The striker set up Samuel Saiz for the opener against Bristol City and his bullet header, wrapped up the three points for Leeds at Ashton Gate in a memorable victory.  The German also netted the opener on Halloween against Derby County, to take his goal tally to five after joining on transfer deadline day in August.

Kalvin Phillips

The midfielder featured in five games for Leeds in October, in the heart of the Whites midfield and is once again nominated for the Louis Erard Player of the Month.  The United Academy product provided an assist against Bristol City, with his corner headed home by Lasogga.  Phillips also levelled the scores with a fine volley against Sheffield United at Elland Road in the Yorkshire derby, his fifth goal of the campaign.

Samuel Saiz

The Spanish playmaker was one of the star performers for the Whites in October.  He netted two first half goals in the 3-0 victory against Bristol City at Ashton Gate, to help Leeds secure all three points in the south west.  Saiz also provided an assist for Lasogga’s strike against Derby County at Elland Road, with a fine pass to put the German forward through on goal, who duly finished it off with a powerful strike.

Ronaldo Vieira

19-year-old midfielder Vieira returned to the Leeds team for the away trip to Bristol City and produced a dominant performance at Ashton Gate, as the Whites picked up a 3-0 win.  He has featured in every game since and stole the ball from Tom Huddlestone against Derby, to give Saiz the chance to set up Lasogga for the opening goal.
