AYLING SIGNS NEW DEAL

AYLING SIGNS NEW DEAL

Defender extends Elland Road stay.

Leeds United are delighted to announce full-back Luke Ayling has signed a new contract with the club.

The defender has committed his long term future to the Whites, by signing a four year deal, which runs until July 2021.

Ayling joined United from fellow Sky Bet Championship side Bristol City in August 2016 and has gone on to make 58 appearances in all competitions, establishing himself as  a firm favourite on the right side of the Leeds defence.

The 26 year-old is the only player to start in every match for Thomas Christiansen’s side this season, whilst has also played in every minute of every game during the league campaign, helping United reach the fourth round of the Carabao Cup and climb to sixth in the Championship.

Ayling joins a long list of Leeds United players who have signed fresh terms over recent months, including the likes of Gaetano Berardi, Eunan O’Kane and Kalvin Phillips.
