WHITES APPOINT ASSISTANT HEAD COACH

Paul Butler arrives on backroom staff.

Leeds United can confirm Paul Butler has been named assistant head coach of the club.

Butler arrives with a wealth of experience in the English game, having started his coaching career with Fulham.

Following his spell at Craven Cottage, he linked up with former Whites striker Paul Dickov at Oldham Athletic.

He then moved to Blackpool, before re-joining Dickov at Doncaster Rovers and most recently spent time at Derby County.

The 31 year-old is the latest addition to Thomas Christiansen’s backroom staff and has linked up with the Whites for the club’s pre-season tour of Austria.
