AUSTRIA: DAY ONE

AUSTRIA: DAY ONE

Whites arrive in Austria.

Leeds United’s pre-season tour in Austria is underway, with Saturday marking the first full day in the country.

Thomas Christiansen’s 25 man squad departed Elland Road on Friday morning and after flying from Manchester Airport, arrived at the clubs base safely, later that night.

After checking into the team hotel and finding out who would be rooming with each other, the Whites had dinner, before an early night, to be ready for Saturday.

United’s first training session took place in the rain on Saturday morning, with Christiansen getting cast his eye over the three new signings Leeds have made over the past seven days, Ezgjan Alioski, Caleb Ekuban and Samu Sáiz.

Following this, the team returned to their hotel for lunch, before resting ahead of their second training session, later that evening.

Leeds will spend ten days in Austria training and have matches against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Thursday and SD Eibar a week on Sunday.
