Leeds sign Serie A striker.

Leeds United have today completed the transfer of 23 year-old Caleb Ekuban for an undisclosed fee.

The pacy forward joins the club from Italian Serie A outfit Chievo Verona and has signed a four year contract with the Whites.

Having come through the ranks at Chievo, the striker has also had loan spells with fellow Italian sides FC Südtirol AC Lumezzane and AC Renate.

Last season Ekuban spent the season on loan Albanian outfit FK Partizani, for whom he played in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.

He made 34 appearances in the Kategoria Superiore for Partizani, scoring 17 goals, as the club finished runners-up in the division.

Ekuban could feature for the Whites for the first time in Wednesday’s friendly with North Ferriby United and will travel to Austria on the squad’s pre-season tour later this week.

With the acquisition of Elland Road and an exciting summer ahead, there has never been a better time to become a Leeds United Season Ticket Holder.

New Adult Season Ticket Holders in the Family Stand can enjoy every home Sky Bet Championship game for as little as £21.04 per match, with Under-11s equating to just £3.00 per game.
