Polish international makes Leeds switch
Leeds United have agreed the transfer of Mateusz Klich from FC Twente for an undisclosed fee.
The 27 year-old central midfielder becomes head coach Thomas Christiansen’s first signing.
Mateusz is a Polish international and has signed a three year contract after scoring six goals in 30 appearances last season.
A number of clubs were chasing the signature of Klich, who spoke to LUTV about his delight in securing a move to Elland Road:
“I am very happy to have signed for such a huge club and I’m looking forward to playing in the famous white shirt.
“I’m excited to come to England and test myself in the Championship and I can’t wait to get going.
“The team came close to promotion last season so hopefully we can go one better and I’m looking forward to meeting my new team mates next week and getting started.”
