VIEIRA COMMITS FUTURE TO LEEEDS

VIEIRA COMMITS FUTURE TO LEEEDS

Midfielder pens long term contract.

Leeds United are delighted to confirm that Ronaldo Vieira has signed a new contract to remain at Elland Road.

The 18-year-old has put pen to paper on a four year deal, committing his future to the Whites until at least the end of the 2020/21 season.

Vieira who made his debut in the final game of the 2015/16 season away at Preston North End, has gone on to become an influential part of the United midfield.

He made a total of 38 appearances in all competitions for Leeds in the last campaign and went on to pick up the Young Player of the Year Award.

Vieira scored his first goal for the Whites in November, scoring a dramatic late winner in the 3-2 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road.

The midfielder also scored the winning penalty in a shootout against the same opposition, to fire Leeds to the EFL Cup quarter final.

As a result of his performances for Leeds during the season, Vieira was called up by England’s Under-20s for the first time and could make his international debut for them later this month in the Toulon Tournament.

You can see Ronaldo Vieira in action in 2017/18 at Elland Road with a Leeds United Season Ticket.

Over 15,000 Season Tickets have now been sold for the new campaign, with adults prices equating to as little as £21.04 per match, with juniors under 11 just £3.00 per match.
