United booked a place in Round Two of the EFL Cup thanks to a dramatic 5-4 penalty shoot-out victory over Fleetwood Town following a 2-2 draw on Wednesday night.

Rob Green saved the decisive spot-kick from Eggert Jonsson after substitute Ashley Hunter had cancelled out goals from Marcus Antonsson and Chris Wood to take the game to penalties for the hosts.
