Defender completes spell at Rotherham...
Defender Scott Wootton has returned to the club after completing a loan spell at Rotherham United.
Wootton made his final appearance for the Millers in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Brentford, completing the full 90 minutes at right back.
The 23-year-old made seven appearances in total after completing an emergency loan switch to the New York Stadium at the end of November.
He returns from South Yorkshire with positive reports after suffering defeat just once in his seven games for Rotherham.
Wootton, who moved to Elland Road from Manchester United in summer 2013, has made 26 appearances in total for the Whites and is under contract until 2016.
Elsewhere, Nicky Ajose was on target for Crewe in their 3-1 win at home to Gillingham.
The forward moved to Gresty Road for the remainder of the season last week following a successful initial spell.
