Irish goalkeeper extends his stay at Elland Road...
Young goalkeeper Eric Grimes has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
The 20-year-old put pen to paper at Elland Road on Friday afternoon after being offered fresh terms earlier this summer.
Grimes, a Republic of Ireland Under-21s international, featured 13 times for United's U21s last season and earned international recognition along the way.
The shot-stopper signed professional terms back with his boyhood club back in 2013 and will now be hoping to catch the eye of head coach Uwe Rosler during pre-season.
He is the latest in a growing list of Academy products to have extended their United stays this summer, with Lewis Cook, Kalvin Phillips, Alex Purver, Lewis Walters, Jake Skelton, Luke Parkin and Tyler Denton having all signed new deals.
