A brace from Shelbey Morris was enough to see off Barnsley as Leeds United Ladies ensured safety in a nervous afternoon at Oakwell.
Leeds started well and Bridie Hannon saw her shot blocked from a corner after three minutes, before Carey Huegett saw a free-kick dip just side.
Leeds took the lead on 18 minutes when winger Morris cut in from the right and beat the Barnsley goalkeeper from a narrow angle.
Two minutes later, that lead was doubled when Morris curled a shot home from 18 yards to give the keeper no chance.
Leeds saw the first half out with any problems as Harriett Coles was a statue in the Leeds goal.

Leeds went looking for the killer third goal after the break, but it was Barnsley who pulled one back when Amy Woodruf headed home from a free kick.
It meant a nervy last 35 minutes with Leeds knowing a win would see them safe from the drop.
In the end Leeds saw out the win and with champions Hull winning 4-0 at home to Mossley, ensuring safety.
It ensured wild celebrations on the touch line from management and players alike.
