Leeds United Ladies set to take part in friendly match..
The Leeds United Ladies are set to play Mousehole AFC in a special celebration weekend of women’s football.
The friendly fixture against Leeds will be the first game Mousehole would of played since celebrating their 125th anniversary back in 2015 against Yeovil.
The Cornwall based side, who represent the Cornwall FA look forward to facing Leeds in what will be a strong challenge for the Cornish team.
The Leeds United Ladies will be travelling to Cornwall to take part in not only the fixture with Mousehole but also to take part in team building skills and enjoy a whole weekend celebrating women’s football.
Lee Townend, Leeds United Ladies Chairman, said: “The team have been going from strength to strength since the New Year and we are thrilled with the team’s performance so far this season.
“The trip to Cornwall will be a fantastic chance for the team to take part in a celebratory weekend of women’s football and play Mousehole.
“We look forward to our meeting with Mousehole and helping to promote women’s football.”
Leeds United Ladies head to Cornwall to face Mousehole AFC on Saturday 24 February at Trungle Park. Kick-off is at 2:15pm with fans gaining entry for £5 for adults and under 16s gaining free entry with a paying adult.
