Huge congratulations to two Leeds United College students who have been selected for the final set of trials for the National Football Youth League All-Stars Team.

The two youngsters, defender Casper Nicholson and midfielder Tom Wood have made it through a tough selection process to get to the finals that will take place in December at St George’s Park.

The promising players are currently part of the Under-17s league campaign with the Leeds United College team and so far this season they have enjoyed wins against Newcastle United, Barnsley FC and Sunderland AFC.

The initial trial for the All-Stars Team was held at Oakwell Stadium in Barnsley at the beginning of October with the finalists announced over the weekend.

Throughout the process, both players have demonstrated strong mindsets and delivered positive performances in a number of games that have been played in front of the league appointed scouts.
