Sports College to host taster sessions

Three open trial sessions to take place throughout August at Bodington Playing Fields.

Leeds United Sports College will be hosting a number of taster sessions for school leavers at Bodington Playing Fields - a fantastic opportunity for gifted players to showcase their skills and ability.

All Year 12 students interested in joining the Sports College, which is based at Elland Road, and being selected for an Elite Player Development Scholarship are welcome to attend one of three sessions being held by coaches from the college.

The youngsters in attendance will join in various sessions being delivered by DFK Limited, a company working closely with the education outfit associated with the club, the organisation includes coaches such as former Leeds United player Brian Deane and former Bradford City player Andy Kiwomya. The trials will be centred on talent identification and player pathways.

The three dates on offer for youngsters to attend, include:

Sunday 11th August from 10am to 12pm

Wednesday 21st August from 10am to 12pm

Sunday 25th August from 10am to 12pm

Players and parents that go along to these open trials will also be given the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the educational framework that will be part of the full-time programme.
