The Leeds United Sports College are holding their next 'taster session' event at Thorp Arch on Sunday 16th June.

The session which is being hosted at the Leeds United training ground will take place from 10am to 12pm. Youngsters who will be going into Year 12 (under-17s) next season are able to attend the session to learn all about the club's college education provision and ask any questions regarding the courses.

During the two-hour taster there will be the chance to meet with specialist coaches that will be working with the Sports College from DFK Ltd, Brian Deane and Andy Kiwomya.

The young people will take part in mini football sessions giving the coaching team the chance to identify the four key areas of a players attributes, including; technical ability, tactical knowledge, psychological and social awareness and physical perspective. They will also look at a number of transferable skills, such as; decision making, teamwork, leadership, listening and personal motivation.
