Launch for Leeds United Sports Hub

Launch event with Brian Deane for Sports Hub at Craven College.

Leeds United Football Club recently announced a partnership with Craven College as part of the new education offerings available within the club.

Craven College is a further education college based in Skipton and is now an official Sports Hub for the Leeds United Sports College.

An event is being held on Tuesday 2 April from 5.30pm to 7.30pm to celebrate the partnership which is available for all Year 10 and 11 students to attend so they can find out more information about what the Sports Hub is all about.

The official launch will also feature a football session with ex-England international and former Leeds United player, Brian Deane.

Itinerary for the evening:

  • Arrive at The Hall for 5:30pm prompt for a presentation from Andrew Cropley (Principal, Craven College), and Spencer Taylor (Director of Education, LUFC).
  • Head to Sandylands Sports Centre for a football session with Brian Deane and former Bradford City and Burnley player, Andy Kiwomya.
  • Visit the College Sports Hub for a taster gym and classroom session, chance to talk to our expert tutors as well.
  • Take part in a question and answer session, with the opportunity to apply to study at Craven College.

Please wear appropriate sports clothing and footwear.

Parents are welcome to attend, although transport will only be provided for students when going to and from Sandylands Sports Centre.
