The Leeds United Foundation recently delivered three successful fundraising events across one weekend, and the team would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated and showed supported for the club’s official charity.

Those who took part in one of the three fundraising activities have helped to raise vital funds that will be used to continue and expand delivery across a number of programmes and initiatives that support and aid those who are most vulnerable in our local communities.

The first of the trio of events took place on Friday 12^th May, the annual Golf Day, and this was once again held at Wetherby Golf Club. The Leeds United Foundation were joined by a number of Leeds United Legends on the day, and they also hosted an exclusive raffle to help raise further funds for the wide range of community programmes.

The next two events took place on Sunday 14^th May, with a group of brilliant runners participating in the Leeds Half Marathon and another group of brave individuals taking on a Skydive challenge.

Those taking part in the half marathon had all trained hard for the day, with each individual raising money through donations for their valiant efforts, whilst those who chose to jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet, were able to take in the fantastic views over East Yorkshire before making the courageous jump.

Everyone at Leeds United is incredibly grateful for all of the amazing fundraisers who supported the Leeds United Foundation and in turn have helped to support the work being done by those involved across Leeds, it really will make a huge difference!

The club’s official charity will continue to use the power of football to enhance the lives of people across our region through various opportunities in sport, education, and healthier lifestyles.
