Foundation to host female coaches recruitment event
Thursday 25th May at Elland Road.
The Leeds United Foundation will host a coaches recruitment event for females at Elland Road on Thursday 25th May 2023, from 6pm to 8pm.
The club’s official charity is looking for any female coaches that would like an opportunity within the coaching industry, with extra support and guidance provided.
The recruitment evening will give candidates interested in a coaching role the chance to learn more about the Leeds United Foundation, and the positions currently available – including part-time and full-time roles, and casual hours. Candidates will need to be enthusiastic and reliable, and have a minimum FA Level 1 qualification, along with excellent communication skills.
The various programmes and initiatives within the Women and Girls department are currently engaging with over 800 young females every week, and they are looking to take on more female coaches that can act as role models as we look at developing youngsters across the female pathway. Through helping to develop more female coaches, we can hopefully better support our players, grow participation and focus on our elite structure.
