Foundation continue their partnership with The Prince\'s Trust

Engagement session hosted at Elland Road.

The Leeds United Foundation have been continuing their great work with The Prince's Trust, with the two parties having now worked together for over 15 years.

Their latest link-up saw a group of young people from the local community invited to Elland Road to take part in a workshop around the Sports Leaders Award, with the club's official charity and The Prince's Trust working in collaboration.

During the workshop, the participants in attendance were engaged in various sessions focused around coaching, showing each of them what makes a successful training session when delivering an activity as a leader. Some of the key aspects they looked at during the workshop, included:

- How to design a session

- Delivery skills required

- Communication

- Building confidence

One of the young participants that took part in the workshop spoke about the impact of being involved, and he said: "It has been one of the best experiences of my life so far working with The Prince's Trust and the Leeds United Foundation. I have learned a great deal about coaching, and especially what it takes to become a great coach and help others."

The Leeds United Foundation will continue their fantastic work with The Prince's Trust, with hopes of the partnership continuing to grow and continuing to make a difference, whilst impacting many young lives that can be changed for the better.
