Foundation team up with Zero Waste Leeds

Kit donations welcome at Soccer Camps.

The Leeds United Foundation will be hosting their usual Soccer Camps over the upcoming October school holidays, and they have teamed up with Zero Waste Leeds on a project that encourages people to donate unwanted sports kit for those less fortunate.

The campaign titled Together For Sport simply asks for donations of any unwanted kit, including boots and trainers, from both adults and children that can then be passed on and given away to families who are unable to purchase items themselves during these challenging times.

If any parents, guardians, or carers are able to donate items and bring them along to the Soccer Camps whilst they are dropping their children off or picking them up, it could help to keep other young people and adults in the local community active, ensuring that everybody can have access to sport and the shortage of kit never serves as a barrier.

Items that would be beneficial include t-shirts, shorts, jackets, hoodies, tracksuit bottoms, trainers and football boots.

There are a number of venues that will be holding the soccer camps in October throughout Yorkshire, and they will run from Monday to Thursday, starting on Monday 24th October from 9am-3pm:

Grammar School at Leeds, LS17 8GS

King James High School, HG5 8EB

Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, WF1 3JZ
