Foundation and Leeds City College to host open session

Female Education programme applicants.

An open session is being hosted by the Leeds United Foundation and Leeds City College for their joint Female Education initiative.

The event will be taking place on Monday 27th June at West Riding County FA (LS26 8NX) between 4pm and 6pm, with young females invited to join and learn more about the programme which brings together both football and education.

The open session is for those that may be interested in starting college in September 2022, giving girls the opportunity to continue with full-time education whilst also being a part of a football programme with the club’s official charity.

The education side of the programme is delivered by tutors through the Leeds City College with A and B licenced coaches from the Leeds United Foundation delivering all of the football sessions, which includes a full fixture programme to take part in competitive fixtures whilst they are developing their skills.

This programme is a full holistic package for youngsters interested in developing their footballing abilities whilst still being focused on either achieving a BTEC or their A Levels and the open session is the perfect opportunity to find out more and meet face-to-face with the coaches leading the programme.

Please note that this will be an outdoor session and so it is advised to wear training gear practical for a football session along with fluids.
