Leeds United Foundation launch new Wildcats Centre

New centre located in Chapeltown.

The Leeds United Foundation are pleased to announce the launch of a new Wildcats Centre with Chapeltown JR Girls FC as part of the Female Pathway within the club.

The Weetabix Wildcats Football programme will be delivered through a joint partnership between Chapeltown JR Girls FC and the club’s official charity, as the Foundation continue to expand the range of opportunities for young girls to play football throughout Leeds and the local community.

This new Wildcats Centre will run every Saturday morning at Prince Phillip’s Centre from 11.15am to 12.45pm, with the first session set to take place on Saturday 25th June, and is available for females aged anywhere between five to 15. The football training sessions are for girls only and will encourage all participants to have fun in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

Delivered by qualified coaches from the Leeds United Foundation, the sessions will help to boost confidence, improve skills and fitness or develop existing skills, whilst also helping youngsters to meet new friends in a non-competitive environment whilst they discover whether football is the sport for them.

The first session for each participant will be free of charge, with each session after that costing just £3 a time.

Please remember that all abilities are welcome, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Sophie.Evans@leedsunited.com.
