Open sessions available for Leeds United Girls Junior Football Club

Open sessions to be held through September and October.

The Leeds United Foundation are hosting a number of open sessions throughout September and October for their Girls Junior Football Club programme.

The Junior Football Club is looking for young females ages between 10 to 12 that are interested in playing football, joining and Under-12s grassroots team and developing their skills.

This initiative is at the base of the Leeds United Girls pathway, offering opportunities for girls with a passion or interest in football to progress through to the Foundation’s Development Centre, Shadow Squad and the Leeds United Girls Academy.

The Junior Football Club are looking to recruit various players for the programme that includes weekly training sessions, with the aim of the team eventually being entered into the West Riding County Girls League. The team will then play competitively against other grassroots clubs such as Tingley, Wetherby and Horsforth.

Those who are part of the Junior Football Club will be provided with a Leeds United playing kit along with opportunities to attend Leeds United home matches at Elland Road.

The training sessions take place every Wednesday evening from 6pm to 7pm at The Grammar School Leeds.
