Primary Stars launch Planet Super League initiative

New sustainability project through education team.

The Leeds United Foundation have launched a new initiative as part of the Premier League Primary Stars programme to encourage local supporters and families to play their part and contribute to saving the planet.

Planet Super League is a campaign that will use the power of football and the power of Leeds United to help youngsters and their families to really think about the impact they’re having on our environment.

Online resources are available as part of the programme, focusing on connecting participants through sustainability activities that impact energy consumption, travel and the environment in general.

Families can sign up to be a part of Planet Super League here, and you can involve your children in a range of educational activities that covers the topics mentioned above.

Once a family completes one of the activities this can be recorded online and it will be registered as a goal for Leeds United as we compete against other football clubs.

For anyone taking part in the initiative you can promote the activity via Twitter – make sure to include @footballPSL.
