Leeds United Foundation announce date for annual Golf Day

Players past and present to attend fundraising event.

The Leeds United Foundation are pleased to announce they will be hosting their inaugural Golf Day on Sunday 1st August at Wetherby Golf Club.

The 18-hole competition will see players past and present join participants on one of the finest courses in Yorkshire, with those taking part also invited to a BBQ on the Terrace at the end of the day that will include an exclusive auction for the Foundation.

The event is a fantastic opportunity for supporters and fans to hit the fairways with Leeds legends past and present, whilst also being able to support the club’s official charity.

A shotgun start will begin at 8.30am with a range of packages available to supporters that would like to be involved. All funds raised from the day will enable the Leeds United Foundation to continue delivering the important work they carry out to those most vulnerable, delivering both social and economic value for local communities across our city.

The various opportunities available for supporters to participate include a four-ball group or a three-ball + past/present Leeds United player group – please note these are available on a first come first served basis. The price per person for a four-ball group is £100 and the three-ball plus past or present player starts at a suggested minimum donation of £1000.

If you would like to register your interest in the event, please contact Scott Buckler via email at Fundraisingofficer@leedsunited.com.
