Online open evening for Female College Programme

Foundation to host open evening for youngsters.

The Leeds United Foundation are pleased to announce an online open evening for their Elite Female Academy Programme in partnership with Leeds City College.

This new initiative was recently launched to offer young females who aspire to play football at a high level the opportunity to gain a full-time education in collaboration with the Leeds United Girls Regional Talent Centre (RTC).

The open evening will take place on Zoom on Thursday 22 April from 6 to 7pm, and for any girls that are interested in developing and creating a career out of football whilst also being committed to an academic programme of study, this is the perfect chance for you to find out everything you need to know – including details surrounding how the educational elements will work alongside competitive fixtures and your training schedule.

This is the perfect opportunity for youngsters, from September 2021, to combine full-time studies with fantastic tutors and staff at Leeds City College alongside a specialised football programme provided and delivered by UEFA B/A qualified coaches at the Leeds United Foundation as part of the female pathway within the club.

Following the online open evening with the Foundation, open sessions will then be held in May for young females to take part in. Please note that details surrounding the open sessions will be released in due course.
