Premier League launch Wellbeing Stars initiative

Social action challenge launched as part of educational programme.

Premier League Primary Stars is launching a new social action challenge aimed at pupils aged 5-11 called Premier League Wellbeing Stars.

The Leeds United Foundation will be working with their partner schools to deliver this new initiative amongst youngsters with the social action challenges focused on wellbeing.

With this challenge, pupils will be asked to design and deliver a Wellbeing Week, consisting of five acts of kindness to help boost the wellbeing of their school and local community. Students can take part in the challenges at school or at home, individually, as part of a group or as a family.

As part of the programme, Premier League Primary Stars have also created a free resource pack to help pupils think about the importance of wellbeing and understand social action. The resources available online include a launch film, parent summary and worksheet to help them plan and deliver their Wellbeing Week - all of this information can be found here.

To take part in this challenge, staff within the club’s official charity will be working closely with teachers, parents and carers to submit children’s completed Wellbeing Week template worksheet.

Each participating school will also receive a Premier League Wellbeing Stars calendar, containing a collection of work from the challenge, with three schools being recognised for their efforts with a school visit from the Premier league Trophy. There will also be opportunities to access a selection of exclusive Premier League rewards.
