Under-23 duo join online Primary Stars session

Foundation host art lesson with special guests.

The Leeds United Foundation hosted a special online educational session with a number of young students recently inviting Under-23 players Niall Huggins and Charlie Cresswell to take part virtually from Thorp Arch.

The Leeds United Academy duo spent time chatting with pupils from different schools in the local community, answering a number of questions as part of an exclusive Premier League Primary Stars art workshop alongside coaches from the club's official charity and local artist and avid supporter Burley Banksey.

The online session was held on Zoom to launch a creative challenge that would encourage the youngsters taking part in the session to talk about their own mental heath and think about how to start conversations around the topic of mental health.

The aim of the workshop was to give the youngsters the chance to think about how they've been coping with the current circumstances and what they think they can do to promote positive wellbeing for themselves and those around them.

The Leeds United Foundation have been delivering a number of their programmes virtually through the lockdown restrictions with a huge emphasis on discussing the subject of mental health with people of all ages struggling as we battle with feelings of isolation and loneliness through the worldwide pandemic.
