Robin Koch attends virtual lesson with the Foundation

Young students discuss resilience and aspirations.

Robin Koch was the special guest during a Premier League Primary Stars lesson with coaches from the Leeds United Foundation at Asquith Primary School recently.

The small group of Year 5 students involved in the session were those who are still attending school due to their parents and loved ones carrying out key worker roles, with teachers and coaches from the Leeds United Foundation continuing to support their education on site.

This session was based around New Year's resolutions, discussing the topic of resilience and facing tough challenges and their future aspirations, and the Leeds United defender took some time out from his rehab to speak to the students and answer some of the questions they'd prepared.

The German international spoke about his current injury and the importance of working hard and remaining positive, his biggest achievements in his career to date including making his debut for Germany and signing for Leeds United, and his hopes for the next year whilst also taking the time to praise the teachers and students for the hard work they are doing as they make their way through this difficult period of time.

The Leeds United Foundation are continuing to deliver the various programmes they are able to, virtually and online, whilst also volunteering their time to support the most vulnerable members of our community that are really struggling due to the impacts of COVID-19.
