Premier League to continue supporting families with online activities

Home-learning activities available online every week.

The Premier League along with the Leeds United Foundation are continuing to support families and teachers in lockdown with online sessions and free, weekly home-learning activities.

Suitable for five to 11-year-olds, the new Premier League Primary Stars Weekly Challenges will have a theme of health and wellbeing and will be supported by curriculum-linked resources.

Staying connected and being able to speak to others through this difficult period of time will hopefully help to encourage positive mental health, and for the first weekly challenge the Premier League are encouraging fans to write a poem that will make someone smile and brighten their day.

Once you have written your poem for a friend, relative or just maybe somebody you have not seen recently, please share a picture of it with us on Twitter, tagging in @LUFC and @PLCommunities using #PLPrimaryStars.

You can watch BBC TV presenter Dan Walker set the challenge in a special video here.

For more information on the Stay Connected challenges and other fun free home-learning activities, head to the home learning section on the PL Primary Stars site.

You can also visit the #StayWell hub for ideas and information on how to support positive mental health.
