Images from our dedicated fixture to Armistice Day.
Leeds United Football Club dedicated Monday evening's Premier League fixture against Leicester City to Remembrance Day, which will take place on Wednesday 11th November.
All of those in attendance at Elland Road took part in a minute of silence ahead of kick-off, with Leeds United captain Liam Cooper and Leicester City captain Kasper Shmeichel both carrying a wreath to mark their respects as they lead their teams out to the pitch.
During the moment of silence, pre-recorded activity was played on the big screen including a rendition of The Last Post to show a small group of servicemen and women at Elland Road, as they marked the occasion earlier over the weekend given they were unable to be in attendance on the night due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Please take a look at a gallery of images below from the activities that took place ahead of kick-off, including shots of the players in the poppy emblazoned shirts.
