Leeds United Foundation welcome fundraising duo

New faces join fundraising team within Foundation.

The Leeds United Foundation are pleased to welcome two new faces to the fundraising team as the club heads into a new era in the Premier League.

The club's official charity has renewed their focus on fundraising to ensure they can continue to support and provide opportunities to those most vulnerable throughout the city. The new members of staff will work hard to generate unrestricted funds that can be used to grow and develop the programmes currently being delivered, helping to improve and save the lives of many more families and individuals.

Andy Howarth will take on the role of Chair of the Fundraising Sub-Committee with the charity. Andy is also the Chief Executive Officer at The Howarth Foundation, a charitable organisation that works to prevent poverty in respect of individuals who are, or who have recently been, homeless in the districts of Leeds and Kirklees, by actively sourcing employers willing to offer employment, guidance and opportunities.

Also joining the team is Leah Charlson who will take up the role of Fundraising and Event Officer and she will be based at Elland Road. Having previously worked as the Head of Fundraising at St John's Hospice, Leah also has experience in the football industry having worked for fellow Premier League side Aston Villa.

A warm welcome to Andy and Leah from everyone at Leeds United.
