Foundation launch Soccercise initiative

Weekly exercise classes available for females.

The Leeds United Foundation have launched a new programme called Soccercise to help keep females over the age of 16 fit and healthy.

Women and girls of all fitness levels and abilities are able to get involved in the new exercise initiative, with no football experience needed – a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to try something different.

Every session is delivered by a female personal trainer with the main objective of creating a comfortable and social environment for everyone in attendance whilst also improving fitness, co-ordination and confidence. The use of the football is purely just a different way of keeping the classes fun and enjoyable with the added bonus of helping with core stability.

Classes are adaptable for each individual so the club’s official charity are hoping to encourage females of all ages to sign up, you can bring your friends, mum or daughter or any other family members along with you.

The sessions will run every Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at John Charles Centre for Sport (LS11 5DJ). All equipment is provided for attendees with no specialised kit needed; just something you are comfortable in.
