Secondary Schools project with the Foundation

New education programme launched with the Leeds United Foundation.

The Leeds United Foundation have launched a project for secondary schools across the city offering students an innovative and education programme.

The education and PE programme can be delivered to all pupils currently studying in high school and sessions will be delivered by qualified Leeds United Foundation coaches, who will provide a fun and engaging initiative with a focus on attainment, progression and maximum participation. 

There will be a range of areas, topics and opportunities included within the programme, such as developing teamwork whilst working on social enterprise projects, employment awareness which will include education and career days at Elland Road and the chance to develop coaching qualifications, including the FA Level 1 in Coaching Futsal .

There is also a real emphasis on the importance of developing leadership skills, with the ability to work towards Sports Leaders Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications, an FA Young Leaders Award, I Can Lead Award and Women, Get Set Go Award as part of the diverse and inclusive programme.
