At the beginning of the 2019/20 season the club launched an innovative way for fans to support the work being done by the Leeds United Foundation through an online platform called 'goalgiving'.

The initiative is simple, yet effective and involves supporters pledging a donation of their choice with regards to first-team matches only - all you have to do is sign up and become an official 'goalgiver' at www.goalgiving.com.

It is free to sign up and fans can currently choose to pledge against one of the following options, with more options to follow throughout the season;

- A LEEDS WIN

- A CLEAN SHEET

- PATRICK BAMFORD GOAL

- HELDER COSTA GOAL 

The idea behind the platform is that it can be a fun and engaging way for fans to support the team and the local community all at the same time.

Imagine if every time Leeds United win or Patrick Bamford scores it raises thousands of pounds to help support the programmes being delivered by the Leeds United Foundation - which currently help more than 35,000 disadvantaged individuals every year. 

It's a win, win for fans with the ability to choose exactly how much you'd like to donate - and if you're worried about spending too much, you can cap donations to a certain amount.

Supporters are also able to pause or stop giving at any time throughout the 2019/20 season, with an option to also donate directly to the charity if you're able to. 

Every week the cumulative amount pledged for each goal, win or clean sheet will grow as more fans start to sign up to the initiative, a great example of everyone Marching On Together.

HOW TO SIGN UP 

1.    Go to www.goalgiving.com/campaigns/leeds

2.    Choose option (Leeds United win, Leeds United clean sheet, Bamford/Costa goal)

3.    Choose your amount (anything from £1 upwards)

4.    Cheer on your team and feel even better with every positive result
