Skills Centres available with Leeds United Foundation

Foundation football programme has spaces available for youngsters.

The Leeds United Foundation are offering youngsters throughout Leeds the opportunity to develop their footballing ability through the Skills Centre programme.

The Skills Centre initiative is suitable for all young people but is especially beneficial for players aged from 5-12 years. The centres being delivered focus on individual skills and there are four main areas for development, including; ball control, movement, passing and receiving and attacking and defending.

All of the coaches from the club's official charity delivering the sessions are FA qualified and DBS checked and they encourage every individual to learn new skills, be creative, improve their confidence, work hard, respect each other and most importantly have fun.

Each player that takes part in one of the Skills Centres will be given an introductory booklet that will be packed with information about the course and include a certificate tracking page which will help participants progress from bronze level through to gold level.

There are currently two different centres available for youngsters to join:

Monday, 6pm – Outwood Grange Academy (WF1 2PF)

Thursday, 5pm – West Riding County FA (LS26 8NX)
