\'United on Tour\' soccer camps to begin

Tour of grassroots skills camps to begin next week with the Leeds United Foundation.

The Leeds United Foundation have launched a fun and exciting initiative for youngsters during the summer holidays with a series of soccer camps being delivered across Yorkshire.

'United on Tour' is a project involving the club's official charity linking up with a number of local grassroots clubs to help keep children active and healthy over the summer break.

The programme will kick-off on Monday 29th July with nine different locations available across Leeds and further afield to choose from. The sessions will take place Monday to Thursday* for youngsters aged 5 to 12 - children who have some experience of playing football or who have never played football before are all welcome.

The programme will run for a total of five weeks with two grassroots skills camps taking place per week at just £20 per child, per session. Please note that 25% of the funds raised at each location will go straight back to the grassroots club hosting the camp to help with their development.

All sessions are fully-supervised and will be delivered by Leeds United Foundation FA qualified coaches who are DBS checked and first aid trained. The sessions will be educational, rewarding and most of all fun for all involved - children of all abilities are encouraged to come along to learn new skills and make new friends at the same time.

If you would like to book on to a course or would like more information about the football camps please contact Julia.Hogan@leedsunited.com.
