Foundation launch 'United on Tour' initiative
Grassroots skills camps on offer during the summer holidays with the Leeds United Foundation.
The Leeds United Foundation are launching a new initiative as they partner with local grassroots clubs to deliver football camps over the summer holidays.
‘United on Tour’ will kick-off on Monday 29th July with nine different locations available across Leeds and further afield to choose from. The sessions will take place Monday to Thursday* for youngsters aged 5 to 12 who have some experience playing football or who have never played football before.
The programme will run for five weeks with two grassroots skills camps taking place per week at just £20 per child, per session. Please note that 25% of the funds raised at each location will go straight back to the grassroots club hosting the camp to help with their development.
All sessions are fully-supervised and will be delivered by Leeds United Foundation FA qualified coaches who are DBS checked and first aid trained. The sessions will be educational, rewarding and most of all fun for all involved - children of all abilities are encouraged to come along to learn new skills and make new friends.
If you would like to book on to a course or would like more information about the football camps please contact Julia.Hogan@leedsunited.com.
