Over £4,000 donated to charity partner

Fundraising page raises over £4,000 for Children's Heart Surgery Fund.

Leeds United supporter Jack Platt presented the club's charity partner Children's Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF) with a cheque for £4,025 ahead of kick-off on Saturday.

Jack recently created a GoFund me page to raise money to help pay a fine given to the club by the FA and together with hundreds of other Whites fans over £4,000 was raised.

All of this money has now been donated to Children's Heart Surgery Fund as part of its partnership with Leeds United for the 2018/19 season - the local charity, based in Leeds city centre, supports hundreds of youngsters every year who suffer with congenital heart disease.

The avid Leeds United fan was on-hand ahead of the Sky Bet Championship fixture against Sheffield United to present the money to Lisa Williams on behalf of the charity.

As a part of the club's relationship with CHSF money raised will go towards purchasing life-saving equipment for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Leeds General Infirmary as well as helping to refurbish the facilities for families at the hospital.

If you are able to donate to the campaign to help save the lives of the young heart heroes the charity supports, you can still do so by visiting justgiving.com/All-Leeds-All-Heart
