SPECIAL VISITORS AT SOCCER SCHOOLS

SPECIAL VISITORS AT SOCCER SCHOOLS

Another successful half-term for Foundation football courses.

The Leeds United Foundation host a number of soccer schools during every half-term holiday across Leeds for children aged 5 to 12.

During the February half-term there were a number of special visitors to some of the football camps being delivered by Leeds United Foundation coaches, including Leif Davis, Robbie Gotts and Ladies players Bridie Hannon and Emma Lee.

The Academy duo met with youngsters at the Grammar School of Leeds with the Ladies players and Lucas the Kop Cat on hand at a new location for the courses at Rothwell Town Club in Woodleford.

During the appearances the special guests spent time getting involved in mini football games with the children, having photos and answering questions about life as a professional sports person.

The sessions are available to boys and girls with any level of experience playing football and devised to be fun, rewarding and educational. They are all delivered by FA qualified coaches who are DBS-checked and trained in emergency first aid and safeguarding children.

The next batch of soccer schools will be delivered during the Easter break at a number of locations throughout Leeds, available to buy per day or as a four-day package.
