FESTIVE COLLECTION AT LEEDS BRADFORD AIRPORT

Local school represents Foundation at LBA with Christmas carols.

The Leeds United Foundation held a festive bucket collection at Leeds Bradford Airport recently with the help of St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School.

Pupils from the Leeds based school sang Christmas carols to visitors in the terminal whilst staff and volunteers took part in a bucket collection to raise vital funds to help support the club’s official charity.

Earlier this year the club announced a new partnership between Leeds United, Bradford City and Leeds Bradford Airport following a decision by the airport to make the two clubs’ Foundations its first official adopted charities.

Bradford City were also represented during the fundraising occasion with students from a local school in Bradford also entertaining guests visiting the airport.

The Leeds United Foundation supports people from disadvantaged backgrounds across the Leeds city region through football and multi-sports, alongside health and fitness education.

The Foundation works with groups of all ages and various demographics, from older people living with dementia to young girls who have never played football before.
