There will be two Leeds United players at the Leeds Christmas Lights switch-on event tonight (Thursday 8 November) which will take place in front of Leeds Art Gallery in the city centre.

Entertainment will begin at 6.45pm with the two Whites stars joined on-stage by huge Whites fan and the current IBF world champion Josh Warrington and a number of other special guests.

The annual event is being hosted by Radio Aire breakfast show presenters Ant and Caroline and aside from the entertainment on-stage there will also be fun fair rides along Cookridge Street and street food concessions.

The evening will culminate in the big switch-on, which is one of the biggest displays of city centre illuminations in the UK, and a firework display.

Please note there will be a number of road closures in place due to the event along with other traffic management measures so please plan your journey.
