NEW RTC GIRLS SIGNED FOR FOUNDATION

Charity signs new female footballers ahead of new season.

Leeds United has signed a new group of young girls to add to their Regional Talent Club (RTC).

The RTC programme is ran by the club's official charity and aims to support the development of talented young female players by providing both an individualised and team training programme for each player progressing them towards the highest levels of football for both club and country.

The trials for new players took place throughout June and saw over 300 girls attend the sessions held at Wetherby Athletic Junior Football Club.

Those chosen to become a part of the Leeds United Girls RTC programme were then invited to Elland Road with family members to sign their new contracts ahead of joining the existing RTC players in the following age groups; Under-10s, Under-11s, Under-12s, Under-14s and Under-16s.

A big thank you to all of the grassroots football teams for their help and support in the girls development so far, including; Castleford Whiterose, Beeston Juniors, Bradford City Girls, Garforth Rangers, AFC Clifford Juniors, Scawthorpe Scorpions, Doncaster Belles, Ferrybridge Falcons, The Hunslet Club, Brayton Belles, Burley Trojans, Norristhorpe, West End Terriers Girls, Ossett Town Juniors, Whitkirk Wanderers and Rothwell Juniors.

Good luck to all of the Leeds United Girls RTC players as they start a new chapter in their football development.
