DISABILITY FOOTBALL SESSIONS AVAILABLE

Disability sessions available with the Leeds United Foundation.

The Leeds United Foundation works with disabled people in Leeds every day in the hope of impacting their lives in a positive way through the art of football.

Take a look at the Disability Football sessions on offer through the Club's official charity below.

Adult Sessions:

The adult Turn up and Play programme is aimed at players with a disability who have a high level of mobility, physical fitness and tactical awareness.

The programme caters for players aged 16 and over across the disability spectrum, this could be a mild learning difficulty, an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), a physical difficulty, sensory impairment or a mental health illness.

Junior Sessions:

The junior Turn up and Play programme offers children with a disability aged 5 to 16 across Leeds a regular coaching, development and competition structure.

The programme caters for players across the disability spectrum form mild leaning difficulties and ASD, through to physical difficulties and sensory impairments.

Visual Impaired (VI) Junior Sessions:

These training sessions are aimed at players who are visually impaired and have a high level of mobility, physical fitness and tactical awareness.

The sessions cater for players aged 5 to 16. Unfortunately at this time we cannot cater for B1 (completely blind) players.

All sessions are conducted in a safe, enjoyable environment for players and ran by Foundation coaches with a wealth of knowledge and experience in both football and working with players with a disability to help develop their involvement in football.

Unfortunately at this time they cannot cater for B1 (completely blind) players and wheelchair users; however other opportunities do exist so please contact us.
