Whites Adult Disability team play first game..
The Leeds United Foundation Adult Disability football team made their debut match against Chesterfield this week and impressed Foundation coaches with their team spirit and commitment to working hard.
The friendly match, held at St. George’s Park Graves Centre in Sheffield, saw the Foundation’s Adult Disability team play their first game against Chesterfield.
Although the Whites side missed out on the win, the team displayed fantastic team morale and support for each other. The team, who haven’t been training together long, are coached by fully qualified Leeds United Foundation coaches.
The team will now go back to training and prepare for their games in the next few months.
Leeds Foundation player Chris won man of the match for some outstanding saves, well done Chris!
Anthony Hall, Disability Officer at the Leeds United Foundation, said: “We are so proud of the team and how well they have come together. We have only been training for a few weeks so it’s been good to get a first game together.
“We’re looking forward to getting out and playing more games and improving as a team.”
