Leeds United to play Manchester United in Oslo

First pre-season game confirmed.

Leeds United’s historic rivalry with Manchester United continues this summer as the two clubs meet in a pre-season game in Oslo.

The Whites will play the Red Devils on Wednesday 12th July, 5pm (local time) at the Ullevaal Stadium, in the first ever meeting between the two sides to be played in Norway.

The match against Manchester United is Leeds’ first confirmed pre-season fixture ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

It will be the first time Leeds have played a game in Norway in eight years, since facing Hoffenheim in Lillestrom back in 2015.

Further 2023/24 pre-season dates and matches will be announced in due course.

Speaking about the announcement, Leeds United Executive Director, Paul Bell said: “We are really pleased to have secured this fixture against Manchester United, especially for the Leeds United fans in Norway.

“The Leeds United Supporters Club of Scandinavia (LUSCOS) has over 8,000 Members, many of whom regularly travel over to England to see Leeds United play at home and away, so everyone is looking forward to the experience of playing in Oslo.”

Tickets in the designated Leeds United section will only be available to purchase via the clubs official online ticketing site tickets.leedsunited.com 

Match tickets will go on sale online on Friday 26thMay, 1pm (BST) to Leeds United Season Ticket Holders and Members. Tickets will be limited to one ticket per supporter and issued on a first come first served basis. 

Tickets are priced at: 1075 NOK.
