Cashless Transactions Encouraged As Fans Return To Elland Road

Pre-order points introduced around the concourses

With the return of fans on Saturday we are pleased to confirm that Elland Road will become the latest stadium to move toward going cashless as we look to develop the clubs Matchday experience.

From this weekend fans will notice the introduction of pre-order points around the concourses allowing fans to purchase their food and drinks in a quicker and more efficient way. The touch screen terminals will allow supporters to place their order easily with designated collections points in action. To celebrate the launch of the pre-order points, fans will receive 10% off orders made using the machines.

Staff from Leeds United will be on hand to assist supporters with their orders and to ensure the machines are regularly sanitised.

Whilst our aim is for the entire stadium to become cashless, we will still allow cash on certain concessions within each stand - although please note that we expect these concessions to be busier due to the transaction times compared to the pre-order points.

Fans can benefit from Elland Road’s new cashless payments and pre-order stations thanks to Official Club Partner, Skrill. The Skrill Prepaid Mastercard®* allows contactless payments anywhere that Mastercard is accepted – in-store, online and from ATMs worldwide. There are no credit checks and you benefit from the added security of your Skrill balance being separate from your bank account.

Fans must still have cash to buy programmes outside of Elland Road, unless purchasing a programme in the retail shop, where cash and card will be accepted.

*Skrill’s offering of and support to the Skrill Prepaid Program is limited to residents of the European Economic Area
